We are looking for a smart, talented and dedicated

Senior Frontend Engineer

to expand our Belgrade team.

Our tech stack:
We pride ourselves with modern tooling and great developer experience. Our daily bread & butter are:

  • React.js with Redux
  • React testing library, Jest, Enzyme and Cypress for testing
  • Node.js for Server-Side Rendering
  • Webpack for putting everything together

Your responsibility:
You will work as part of a cross-functional product team with colleagues from Android, iOS, Backend and more. Our team in Belgrade ships business critical features and commits code to more than 150k daily active users.

Share full responsibility of our codebase. If you touch a component, you always leave it in better shape than it was before. We like to challenge the status quo, new ideas and solutions that improve our product, performance or developer experience are always welcome.

You will also be part of the Web Frontend Guild, where you’ll be encouraged to suggest improvements to our codebase, do code reviews and do pair programming sessions to share knowledge.

Your profile:

  • In-depth Javascript knowledge (ES5+). jQuery won’t cut it.
  • Experience with CSS3. When we say Flex, you say box!
  • Experience in writing unit and end to end tests with modern frameworks.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

What to expect during the interview process:

  • HR screening (30 minutes): during this talk we will try to break the ice and get to know each other. We will have a chat about your motivation to join our team and you’ll tell us about your past experiences.
  • Technical interview (1 hour): you will talk with our developers, you can expect some in-depth technical questions that are both related to the frontend world but you can also expect more general questions that could range from DNS resolutions to software maintainability.
  • Home coding challenge (4 hours): this is your time to show us what you’re good at. How much effort you’ll put into this challenge is completely up to you. We recommend you timebox it to 4 hours. It will be completely up to you how to solve it and which tools to use. What’s important, is that you will be able to explain and justify all your choices, product and technology wise.
  • On-site day (0.5 day): that’s the final stage. We will meet in person and spend some time together working on real tutti.ch problems. You’ll be able to meet the team, see our codebase and convince us you’re the one.

Our Offer:

  • Flexible home office policy.
  • Paid traveling to Zurich.
  • Competitive salary and a variety of fringe benefits
